Browser-based tools

Most DevKitYard tools run entirely in your browser. For these tools, the text, colours, code snippets, files or other values you enter are processed locally on your device and are not intentionally sent to a DevKitYard server.

Uploaded files

Some tools allow file selection or upload-style previews. Uploaded or selected files are not permanently stored by DevKitYard. Where a tool can run locally in the browser, file processing or preview data is handled locally for that session.

Future tools may require server-side processing for specific file operations. If that happens, the tool page should explain how the file is handled before you use it.

Personal data

DevKitYard does not sell personal data. If you contact the site owner, the information you provide, such as your name, email address and message, may be used to respond to your enquiry.

If you create an optional DevKitYard account, DevKitYard stores the account details needed to provide it, including your email address, display name, accessibility and theme preferences, saved favourites, legal acceptances, and account status. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not stored by this website.

Saved items and marketing choices

Signed-in users can sync saved resources and preferences between devices. Product-update emails are optional and require a separate choice; account creation is not treated as marketing consent. Changes to that preference may be recorded as consent events.

Account deletion requests and other products

You can submit an account deletion request from your account page. A request is recorded for review and does not immediately delete the authentication user. Future access to other DevKitYard applications is opt-in. ElementYard data and authentication remain separate at this stage and are not automatically activated by a DevKitYard account.

Analytics

Analytics may be used to understand page visits, popular tools, performance issues and general usage patterns. Analytics data is used to improve the website and decide which tools to build next.
