No. Images are processed in your browser using local file and canvas APIs.
Which image formats can I use?
Support depends on the browser, but common PNG, JPEG and WebP workflows are supported where the browser can decode and encode them.
Can image compression remove metadata?
Canvas re-encoding can strip common metadata, but use Metadata Remover when privacy cleanup is the main goal.
Will compression reduce quality?
Lossy formats can reduce visual quality. Use the preview and size stats to balance quality and file size.
